Casually taking the stage to Ludacris' "Move Bitch," Northampton, Mass' Potty Mouth melted our faces off with their vicious shredding.  Reminiscent of lo-fi high-energy shows I've experienced in New York City, this band is a perfect mix of alt-indie-grunge, making me feel the roller-coaster of emotions that came with Veruca Salt's American Thighs or Liz Phair's Exile in Guyville albums.  Having recently moved to LA, I'm hoping this doesn't mean less Massachusetts shows for Abby, Victoria, Ally, and Aurore, but just bigger and better tours. Potty Mouth would be splendid on a bill with Veruca Salt and/or Bully.
