Queensryche Rocks the House
Spanning decades, progressive heavy metal band Queensryche rocked the nearly packed Concord Music Hall in Chicago Illinois, giving everyone something awesome to do on a Sunday night.
Playing in front of large video screens set up on stage, they created a visual experience on par with stadium shows, showing stunning individual visuals with each song. Touching on just about everyone’s favorite albums, they played three songs from concept album Operation: Mindcrime including; “The Mission”, and “Operation: Mindcrime”. Rage for Order was represented with “Screaming in Digital” and “The Killing Words”. Even 1984’s The Warning was represented with a song and in a shout out to the longtime fans, Queensryche played early 80’s “Queen of the Ryche”, a difficult song that LaTorre sang with what seemed like little effort.
Queensryche stayed red hot, finishing the show with some of their best songs, “Jet City Woman”, “Take Hold of the Flame”, “Screaming in Digital” and the always amazing “Eyes of a Stranger” as the show closer. Go see the band live: Queensryche official tour-dates
