Mom+Pop Music recording artist Jai Wolf today releases his new single “Don’t Look Down” featuring BANKS. Jai Wolf is set to begin his North American tour on August 9 in Phoenix, AZ.
The song features crescendoing strings leading into BANKS’ impressive vocal performance and is co-written by Jai Wolf and BANKS, along with Matthew Koma, Lauren Mayberry (CHVRCHES), Martin Doherty (CHVRCHES) and Ryland Blackinton (Cobra Starship). The duo debuted the song at Coachella, earlier this year.
Jai Wolf says, “From writing this song with CHVRCHES & Matthew Koma to debuting the song at Coachella this year with BANKS, I'm absolutely thrilled to finally release it into the world. I've always wanted to write an anthemic dance-pop record in triplet time akin to "Cooler Than Me" by Mike Posner or "Latch" by Disclosure. It's maximalist pop meets my usual palette and I seriously cannot wait for everyone to sing along on tour.”
BANKS adds, “It was an honor to collaborate with an artist I admire on a song that everyone can relate to. We’ve all been scared to take a leap into something new. It’s easy to get in your head and talk yourself out of it. But this song is about the strength to push through that and go for it.”
After taking nearly three years off from releasing new official singles, Jai Wolf has stepped right back into form with a series of additional stunning tracks including “Want It All” Feat. Evalyn, “(I Dread The Day He Takes You To) Paris” Feat. MYRNE, and “Tennis Skirt” Feat. Ella Boh.
In addition to the new single, Jai Wolf is embarking on a North American Tour starting August 9 in Phoenix, AZ. He will be performing at iconic venues such as Brooklyn Mirage and The Greek Theatre where he will be performing his new music as well as fan favorites. Full tour dates below.
With over 938MM Global Streams across all DSPs and multiple RIAA Gold records, Jai Wolf is continuing to rise. He has performed at over 70 festival properties over the last 5 years including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and many more as well as being the first Bangladeshi American Artist to sell out Red Rocks Amphitheatre as a headliner.
